About Us

2017

In 2017, Noam Shamah, a renowned scout, first visited Ghana to identify talented young footballers aged 18 and above to bring to Israel. During this trip, he also discovered exceptional players under the age of 18, whom he decided to mentor and support by helping them join local clubs in Ghana until they reached the eligible age.

2021

Five years later, in 2021, Noam Shamah founded the Frienhoff Academy in Ghana, providing a structured training environment for these young talents to develop their skills until they turned 18.

2023

The academy's growth continued in April 2023 with the arrival of experienced coach Gadi Carmeli and reputation coach Moti Iwanir, who joined forces with Noam Shamah to enhance the training programs. In July, Israeli sports investor Yossi Lipkin and football director Marcus Grevskovich became part of the team, further solidifying the academy's foundation.

2024

In May 2024, Israeli sports investor Yossi Lipkin and football director Marcus Grevskovich visited the academy, later joining forces to further support the academy's mission. In the summer of 2024, a representative from Pini Zahavi agency visited Frienhoff in Ghana and was impressed by the academy's progress and potential.

2025

Looking ahead to 2025, sports investor Adar Zahavi joined Frienhoff, and Pini Zahavi came on board as players' agent, paving the way for new opportunities and growth for the academy and its talented young players.
